Samaritan
The priest did not risk
touching a dead body
make him unclean
to serve in the temple this trip
the Levite- similar excuse
fear of getting involved
dirty his hands
slow his work
But the Samaritan knew
felt like to be
ignored and ostracized
he had compassion
willing to stray
from his schedule
to help the needy
to bind the wounds
place in an inn
even give of his money
